Dojo rules:
Toenails and fingernails should be short and clean.
Presence in complete Gi, which is clean and well cared for. When becoming member, tracksuit and other leisure clothing will no longer be accepted when training.
Food and drinks (except water) forbidden in the dojo.
No jewelry except for a smooth wedding ring should be worn during training.
Leaning against walls, standing with arms crossed or hands on hips are not allowed during lesson time.
Injury before or under training must immediately be reported to the instructor.
Always address the instructor with Sensei, when in dojo.
Control and respect towards training partner at all times.
Please respect these rules – this is a Martial Art.
Bowing
Within martial arts circuits, bowing is a sign of respect. When entering or leaving the dojo, you bow. When an instructor has spoken to you, you both bow. Before execution of a technique with a training partner, you bow. (This is to apologize in advance, if an injury should occur.) After execution of the technique, you both bow.
General rules
No execution or demonstration of techniques outside dojo.
If a student practices his learned techniques outside dojo, or use excessive force in self-defense, he will be excluded from Kempo Ju-jitsu Academy.
